Not a bad MacBook, just an 'old' MacBook with a new chip. This Pro could've benefited a lot with MagSafe 3, 1080p webcam, and new speakers even if the rest stayed the same.

It's insane to see something like the battery benchmarks that take a lot (!) of time and the slide is there like 10 seconds and then it goes to the next topic. Much appreciation for all the effort you put into your videos 😱

This man is an absolute genius. I came here expecting to see the new laptops being used, or some sort of hands on review. Instead I got the most thoughtful, accurate, and overall perfect view on Apple and their products.

I don't get why people call the 2016 Macbook Pro and 2018 MacBook Air 'dated looking', They still look better than 80% of all the other laptops. The absolute only thing that makes them look dated, are the bezels, but that's it. These laptos were just that ahead of their time in terms of design.

The thumbnail was a nice touch cause I saw it on my homepage & didn't even realise it's Dave's most recent video. That throwback thumbnail definitely brought back old memories of when I used to watch Dave's videos back in 2016, lol.

I can see why some people are disappointed in the new M2 Pro, especially with the new redesigned M2 Air. Weirdly enough, I think this is makes a lot of sense, because you really have to ask yourself what are you really looking for when you're buying a laptop. If you're after something fun and casual it's no question you go with the Air. But the Pro has always been marketed towards heavy tasks like video editing and music production. I have the 2019 Pro and it does everything I need it to (except After Effects which I don't have the ram to support on it, need to use my desktop for that). I really don't need them to re-invent the wheel with the Pro (although I wouldn't say no to any 'upgrades'). It does what I need it too, and if my 2019 Pro broke down, I would happily upgrade to the new M2 Pro.

You are superb. You can set up a camera, have a simple chit chat about tech without fancy B rolls, yet I still watch every second from start to finish.

When both M2 laptops have a $100 difference in their base models, choose the cheaper Air, cuz it has 2 less GPU cores and a worse brick but newer design, more ports when you're charging it and better webcam, but when the price difference is less than $64, like in HK, and you have an iPhone for Continuity, I see little reason to go for the new Air. Only get it for function keys and design.
