I bought a 5x5 mars hydro kit with the fce light. The manual said 100% intensity at 2 feet so thats what I did. IT cooked my plants. 2 autos were stunted from it. I threw a photo in there that looked great and it quickly yellowed and the leaves got deep ridges and were curling. I ended up buying a par meter, but Im stressing about the clone i just put in there. I have the light nice and high. Dimmed down to 25%. Par says 200-300. The clone is getting deep ridges in its leaves. I hope it works out ok. This video was very helpful! Thanks bro. Congrats on all your youtube success. You are killing it.

With the mars hydro TSL2000 I start at 50% at 36" with seedlings and then keep a 26-32" range up near flower for a even light spread. Each time you need to raise the light, you also raise the intensity to try and match what the canopy was before you raised it. Maybe 8% each time. This way the plant will always be growing itself into the next higher intensity stage. By the time your in week four of flower they are 12-20" at full blast. Around week seven I brought the intensity back down some.

I bought a Mars hydro fce 6500 1st led light. I found that at 75% an 28" away was too much for my girls in wk 3 of flower. I dimmed it down to just past the 50% mark. And they loved that. Now I'm in wk 6 of flower I turned it up just past the halfway mark between 50% an 75 %. The soil is happy the leaves are happy an the buds are loving life cuz there getting bigger everyday.

Always the best, still trying to work out the night lights should be, with dimmer set on par...” little joke” on par yah right, wish I could figure out the numbers on my par meter, even have two on iPhone, should I set it at twenty or higher, or, he’ll I wish I could figure this out, by the way with last couple episodes, and some older ones, my plants are on point, better then I’ve ever accomplished since starting to grow indoors, what a learning curve, had it not been for you, or Bill, I’d still be in the dark, when growing in a you Chris, thank you 🙏
