Daily light integral (DLI) is a measurement of how much usable light reaches a plant during a 24 hour period. This measurement is vital to providing plants the optimal amount of light each day. Doing this results in increased plant health and yield.

Wow! Am I Happy I found your site. I'm new to indoor growing. I bought a PAR light meter but had no idea how to use it. It came with no instructions. I learned how to calculate DLI but had no idea how to apply it. It wasn't useful to me until I saw you video. Thanks for providing all this very useful information.

This phone app is not acurate at all. I have tested this with highend meters, its not even close.
