On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin told his Turkish counterpart that he is open to talks with Ukraine if Kyiv accepts the 'new territorial realities' on the ground. Putin reiterated his stand to Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a telephone conversation. In September 2022, Russia moved to unilaterally annex four Ukrainian regions – namely, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia.

Zel would not accept to lose an inch of Ukrainian land. It is similar to the late President J.R .Jayawardena of Sri Lanka who said that he will offer Sri Lanka to any other country but not yield an inch of land or any rights to Tamil minority. Look at the situation of Sri Lanka today running with a begging bowl. Zel doesn't know the real face of the West if they don't have any interest they simply walk away leaving you out in the cold. The one condition each side wants is the one neither can give. Putin has annexed these territories and that action action is irreversible. Zelensky walked away from the Minsk agreement because he wanted to re-subjugate Crimea and the Donbas. If he accepts Putin’s condition that these areas plus two more are lost, then Zelensky got over a 100, 000 of his men killed and his country destroyed for nothing.
