How can you intend to stop the military operation if you don't stop the military operation?

Of course Putin is open to negotiations, (providing he can maintain the areas he's occupied). Ukraine is also open to negotiations (providing the Russians leave the occupied territories.)

Only if he gets all the annexed city's. It just doesn't work like that. There's little hope for diplomacy.

If he wanted to end he would withdraw. What rubbish.

If Putin was interested in peace and ending his invasion of the Ukraine, he could probably withdraw all his forces within 2 to 3 days. So let him order a cease fire as a first step and then withdraw from Crimea as a show of good intentions and move the Black Fleet from Sevastopol permanently. Then he can start withdrawing from the other regions.

Has he agreed it's a war?He should get out of Ukraine, if he wants the war to end. Simple!

Really the “annexation” sadly destroyed the main path to peace. Ukraine obviously can’t accept the seizure of territory and Russia would have to amend its constitution. One side is going to have to be forced to a major concession, it might as well be the aggressor who forced this conflict

Hmm I don’t believe that part about Russia not wanting to negotiate. I think he means “they don’t want to do what we say”

Peace throughout the world! I hope year 2023 will be peaceful amidst the rising tension in the east between Japan and North Korea and China.

Before witnessing this Russian incompetence, I had some ingrained vision of Russia's military as this gigantic, intimidating, cold, logical insurmountable force. Boy ! ! that image has been shattered. 🇺🇸 🇺🇦

Yes, let us hope this war ends. Too many innocent children, men and women have died for nothing.
