i’m 17 and got my first job at marshalls and doing the resume really helps i didn’t have any work experience but i told them about school and my achievements and got hired on spot.

1. Bring your resume
2. call and follow up
3. contact information on resume
4. don’t be nervous (talk to interviewer like you know them)
5. have a firm handshake
6. choose either strongly agree or disagree in surveys
7. ask the interviewer questions (what are the hours like? the uniform?
8. be available
9. leave your phone in the car
10. be on time to interview
11. look for jobs on facebook, google
13. networking (use the people you know)

pro tip: at the end of the interview when they ask if you have any questions say “when do i start?” trust me you gotta be confident i said this and got hired on the spot! good luck

As an employer myself, I would like to clarify, businesses that care about cosemetics (tattoos, hair color, etc.) are often toxic places to work. You should not be afraid to express yourself at work.

Come with a resume is great advice. Anything that sets you apart from your competition is key to standing out.
