Hi Bleu! I’m so thankful to have found your channel. I’ve worked behind the scenes in Healthcare for about 15 years. I also have a bachelors degree, I’ve taken medical terminology and a&p but it’s been 13 years since I’ve graduated. I’m signing up with AAPC in a few days but wanted to know if you think I should retake medical term, a&p and patho phys? Or just take the coding courses?

Hi Bleu! I started taking anatomy, medical terminology, pathophysiology and a cpc course. My question is how pertinent will each be to taking the exam and into the workforce? I feel like I'm a perfectionist and want to learn every little detail but I'm unsure how much I should realistically be aiming to learn and recall?

Hi Bleu! I'm still in the process of trying to find a good school to attend, preferably online. I was curious if you know anything about the Andrews school or know anyone who has attended? I'm very skeptical because I was indecisive between The Andrews school and Ahimas 13 course program. I eventually want to sit for my CCS, preferably surpass the CCA and go straight for the CCS. Andrews school claims I will be able to sit for the CCS right away but ahima only prepares you to sit for the CCA. I emailed Ahima over a month now with some questions and they still haven't got back to me. However when i emailed Andrews school they got back to me right away...i think thats something to be aware of but was curious if you knew anything about them and if that would be a good choice for me to start my medical coding.
