I intentionally waited for the Pro version since the launch of OG. Now I'm excited af!! My PS Library is flooded with unplayed games I had from my PS4 PRO and also I've been buying PS5 Games on steal/sale prices without having PS5 until this moment. The fact that I pre ordered my PRO the same price as people around me bought their OG PS5 is satisfying af!!! WORTH THE WAIT!!! I was able to save money as well for a insane gaming monitor

I just traded some things at the pawn shop for a used PS5 slim after seeing the pricing and the anniversary debacle. It felt good coming home with a ‘free’ PS5.

My PS5 Slim (admittedly the only PS5 I paid for) is staying where it's at. The PS5 Pro doesn't even have a dedicated disk drive so I consider that a downgrade. Also the difference in resolution between base PS5 and the PS5 Pro isn't that definitely different that it makes it a must buy. It just comes off as a cash grab for Sony to make up for it's colossal failure in Concord so I'm not going for it.

Hell I barely even play my PS5 Slim. Majority of games in its library can also be played on Steam so there's no real incentive of really getting a PS5 at all other than to just have it.

Keep it. The performance gain is not significant enough mid generation to make the change. Save that money for a PC where versatility and player choice are still a priority.
