Tested by dermatologists paid by the company.

Dermatologist tested is very different from Dermatologist Approved😅

Just because something is *tested* doesn’t mean it’s *approved* . And how many dermatologists are we talking? One? How did they test it?

Ask 5000 derms, one agrees, ergo dermatologist approved.

Or easier still, have an in-house dermatologist to just say "yea works"

Or easier still "lie"

Thank you Dr. Idriss! We need to be calling out all the brands that confuse marketing with product efficacy!

Every time I read out the 'Dermatology tested' I would ask back "but is it dermatology approved?" as if the product would answer back

I got an add under this video with the words” dermatologist tested” 😂

Thank you! I’ve been saying this for years and everyone always got so pissy at me for it.

Theres a really easy way to see if something is dermatologist approved. ASK A DERMATOLOGIST!

Is there anything like the ADA Seal of Approval for skincare?

It would be funny as hell for you to just take a bunch of products and label them not dermatologist approved lol

Same thing tho for « medical » esthetician is California…. It does not exist. There is no such thing as a « medical » or « advanced » esthetician in California where Cassandra works. As a fellow esthetician I absolutely love her and her content but it’s unethical to slap that label on implying she has more knowledge than « non medical » estheticians. It’s simply a marketing tactic to seem more knowledgeable/experienced to gain followers 🤷🏻‍♀️

Cassandra gets paid to use and push the products she uses. Which means her reactions are fake.

That’s American think. An info for the Europeans who see it. In Europe bcs we have many ingredients and products banned, we are obligated to have them tested by professionals assigned to test them that are not paid by the companies+ EU in the context of the health and consumer protection policy can take legal actions if cosmetic companies don’t follow the regulations made from the European bodies such as the Commission. There are always exceptions but especially in the context of achieving the European Single Market on its fullest potential, the inspections on offending/illegal acts are pretty common.

I've known this for years, even when I was in highschool. noticed the wording on "dermatologist tested". the words were enough to show meaning

What do you think about mixoon? Specifically the bean essence and cream?

same with dentists. they always say that "9 out of 10 dentists recommend" bull crap on commercials, but a lot of these products are, in fact, NOT recommend by 9 out of 10 dentists lmfao

Look for cosmetic toxicology reports on products or cosmetic chemists
