He missed the part where you have to be like the top 5% of your med school class and score 95% on USMLE Step 1 licensing exam and do research. You are fighting with all the other med students for a career in a specialty with the best hours, no real emergencies when you have to be on call, and get paid massive amounts.

How to be a hematologist in New Zealand - 6 years medical school, 2 years internship, 4 years internal medicine residency, 4 years hematology residency, 2 years fellowship = 18 years = time to retire

I remember I wanted to quit school 1 year before finishing cause I thought I couldn't take another year 😂
Huge respect to any doctor out there... I find dermatology really interesting but I would not have had the stamina for this career.

I’m in school for esthetics and feel like they should make the program longer since it’s a lot of information to retain and not enough time leaving the end result just trying to pass then not worrying about half of it after. When dealing with skin as a organ to your body i feel like it should be taken more seriously even just being an esthetician, then just being a 4 month program.

I know You Tube is now requiring this extremely short form content, but I come here for long form content. It's a mystery to me why You Tube is asking creators to make content that is 15 to 35 seconds long.

My husband is the same - radiology so 4 undergrad, 4 med, 1 intern, 4 residency, and he’s starting a fellowship next June! It’s been a wild ride lol

But lucky by the time you finish you’ll know so much about skin care you’ll still look 18 although you are 35. Lol.
