I would like to as for your opinion Listnnosz,

I bought an Apple Thunderbolt Display A1407 but it won't turn on when it's plugged in, the Maglite does not come on.
I tested the power cord it seems ok, but still has no power coming out of the display even when it's connected to the mains/devices.
I did a teardown and removed the PSU board and logic board I am hoping to find a way to test them to make sure they are working.
Do you know how if so would you share?

Hi great video. I noticed that my Thunderbolt display emits a strange clicking noise (very short and random) especially when I increase the brightness of the screen. Do you think changing the power supply with a new one would solve this problem?

Great video. I am repairing the same display (A1407) and the monitor exhibits a few issues: When power or thunderbolt cable from the display is plugged into any Apple thunderbolt equipped laptop, these issues are exhibited - 1. I hear a buzz (sounds like crickets at night) from the display. 2. The thunderbolt connection randomly drops causing the display to flicker. Where would you start to trouble shoot? I have checked all external variables and all software/firmware is up to date. Thank you anyone for help.

I wonder if its possible to upgrade the lcd panel with a 4k one from LG of the same size. Could it work?

What caps did you replace ...was it on the power supply or the control PWB ? time 4.46 on the video ?
