How to easily remove and re-install Apple Thunderbolt Display or iMac stand

In this video I will show you how to remove the Apple display or iMac stand. So you only need a card (bank or credit card) any card will work. Please make sure to see how I exactly insert the card.

Mine is stuck forward, and the card thing doesn't do anything to get it lose so I can move it back.

From my research this only works on iMacs 2012 or older. Starting 2013 you cannot remove the stand.
