Rocking 2 daisy chained TB displayed for everyday use for UX design. I use them with my M1 MB pro with no issues for adjusting brightness and volume... I love these monitors so much. They're like my prized possessions lol

Monitor Control App! Excellent addition to this video! I bought a $100 monitor on Amazon then decided it sucked and bought this and your app info now allows me to control brightness. NO other video explained that 10 out 10 on the vid!

I bought this monitor when it first came out and have enjoyed using it with a 2013 Macbook Pro and later with a Mac mini. Just bought a Mac mini M2 so this article was spot on in showing how to make the connection with an adapter. JIT advice. Thank you.

I just picked up a used Thunderbolt Display yesterday and it works perfectly with my M1 MBA using the Thunderbolt 2 -> 3 adapter! The speakers, camera and brightness controls all work as well!

Have had one since Aug 2011, and it's been a great workhorse monitor with all my Mac products over the years. Using it now with an M1 Macbook Air, everything works seamlessly.

I use mine with my M1 Pro MacBook Pro 16" and it works flawlessly. With Apple's Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter there's no need to download any app whatsoever, it works perfectly. Honestly the only thing I dislike is the amount of glare, it's huge. But otherwise it's great, beautiful colors and impressively well made.

I have this same setup and love it. Used to have 2 of those monitors but sold one a few years back and I’m regretting it. I’ve got a big family and could use it again. I’ll keep this one for as long as I can.

I’m still using mine and I love it. Incredible how old it is and how good it looks

I use this 27" Thunderbolt display along with it's predecessor, the 27" LED Cinema display on an M2 Pro Mac Mini. I installed Monitor Control, but after that, everything works without ever having to open up that app. In fact, to write this comment, I had to search for it to see if I even had it. Keyboard works to control both brightness and volume. They look great!

Hi, I came across your video by chance and happens that I recently like 2 days ago bought one MacBook pro 15" 2015 and the display came along with it!! What a sweet surprise!!! I'm really amazed by the fact that soo many years have passed and the display looks like brand spanking new! Could not be happier! Great display!

Using one of these displays with my M1 Mac mini and have used it with my M1 iPad Pro both work flawlessly. Love this display.

It's worth mentioning that m1 Macs work flawlessly with it now.

I still use my Apple Thunderbolt Displays. Was considering upgrading but after I looked at the new Studio Display it's not that much better to justify spending $1600. Even as a video editor and color grading. It would add more screen real-estate and brightness, but for video color correcting and sharpness, it's really not as big of a difference as I thought it would be. I plan on keeping what I have longer, maybe upgrade if Apple makes a 32' Studio Display or an HDR 120Hz display. If you already have one, I don't think it's really worth upgrading unless you really need it.

Yep rocking two of these with a high spec Mac Studio. I have zero complaints. Edit: I've had both for over ten years, using professionally every day for design, image editing and video editing - extraordinary value for money.

I bought one when my new MBP could no longer target display my late 2012 27" imac. Honestly a great option.

I have new M1 Mac Studio and this Thunderbolt display works perfectly with all controls working. No need to download anything for control. Only thing required is the Apple Thunderbolt 2 to 3 (USB C) adapter, which you show. I bought this display of course used last year on FB Marketplace. Not one scratch on it. After a month bought another one, an extra in case something happens to it (as insurance). For potential buyers, marks rub off with a cloth that is wet very lightly. I learnt about cleaning this display on another YouTube video here.
