These always remind me of my military days. We had a handler. That would take his dog to the obstacle course. And then take him off leash. Stand there and light up a cigarette. (Yes this was many years ago 😢)
Tell his dog “ course” and stand there and watch him run the whole thing. And then return to the heal position right beside him. The people used to laugh. Sometimes the handler would eat a sandwich instead and give the dog what was left. Hard for me to realize that was over 50years ago now.

I'm unable to make my gsd to follow me like that....now she is almost 4 yh and also she is dominant on other dogs (mostly the big ones) in my area I couldn't find any good instructors unfortunatly
