This should absolutely be replicated throughout the Philippines. We have so much unused coastline. Oysters are in high demand, expensive, can be exported, does not require much space, does not require care at all, aside from the hatchery. We desperately need large-scale exportable products. Things we are abundant with and we can be proud of.

share ko lang. It will be long hehe

I’m confident to say na kung sa lasa lang ang pagbabasihan, masarap ang local oyster sa lugar namin sa Surigao 🥰
Kaya naman earlier this year nag suhesyon ako sa parents ko baka pwede kaming mag try mag grow ng oyster doon sa lugar namin.

Currently may 3 floaters na kaming ginawa for trials, in few weeks babalikan na ng parents ko para e check kung marami bang oysters ang kumapit . Hopefully positive yung outcome 🙏🏻🫶🏻
If positive, we would like to add more ..

Any suggestions po kung saan kami pwedeng makakuha ng kaalaman sa pag grow ng oysters please let me know po or seminars po na pwede kaming mag attend . At the moment po ay from Youtube research lang po yung ideas na ginawa namin 🥰

yeah featr always hit the right spot, i am really surprised that this channel has less subs compare sa mga channels na wala naman ambag sa bayan.
this is what i love about this channel, maka-pilipino.

I'm usually not very happy with the oysters I've tried here in Metro Manila since I always compare it to the ones in my hometown Ilog, Negros Occidental, but I think this Tayabas oysters will trump those from Ilog. Excited to try this!

and great take there, the food reflects the environment it has grown. we should definitely take care more of our country's natural resources especially these pristine rivers, beaches, etc.

This is especially suitable for the mangrove habitats we have. Which are underutilized and thus tends to just be cut down for timber or some other unsustainable product.
