Obi-Wan stared awkwardly at Anakin as he realized his former apprentice had managed to calm himself and was now content to wait and patiently recite his entire thesis on the dichotomy of Darth Plagueis the Wise. As the minutes slowly crawled by, Anakin continued to speak nonstop, almost as if he didn't need to draw breath, as he broadly explained the inherent nature of the duality and the finality and inescapable reality of death. Obi-Wan winced as he raised a hand to his head, he wasn't sure if it was the fumes rising from the lava or Anakin's monotone voice as he further described the meta-narrative and the ouroboric themes, but Obi-Wan steeled himself as he understood that this couldn't carry on any longer. Obi-Wan prepared himself to jump, to abandon the high ground and make a desperate lunge at the traitorous Jedi turned Sith.

Good story. Just one thing: If Anakin just jumped onto the platform, Sidious would have died anyway, since he had no ship to escape the volcano which makes Anakin's sacrifice unnecessary.
