I have the a7 back then for about 6month, sold it, then jump to a7rii for about 3months, sold, then a6500 for 4months sold, now the a7iii have it for almost a year now. Love it! Hopefully I don’t sell it to get the a7siii. Lol. But I feel like my a7iii is going to be a keeper for a while.

I feel the pinky doesn’t actually “hang” underneath but rather helps with support underneath the camera, adding another axis of support, making it more secure in the hand. Gotta learn to be agile ;)

One thing I really like about the a7iii is its body actually! I super love the vintage looking body, grip and smaller size compared to canon and nikon

With the a6400 really being a great option for people who want a small mirrorless camera, I really hope Sony starts to consider larger bodies for their full frame cameras. The A7iii feels so good to hold with a battery grip, it would be great to have it be built into the body, and would give more room for their engineers to pack in whatever new toys they can think of

This is the only camera that made me swich from Nikon to Sony... and it was just a great decision! All the features that i've ever want on a camera is just made possible by the A7iii (minus the articulating LCD.) It's autofocus system is also the best of all the camera i've owned and photos are just perfectly sharp and never been out of focus. No doubt it is the best mirrorless camera. Sony lenses are indeed too expensive but it's all worth it especially the G Master lenses.

Do you have any experience with the Sony A7iii and the App as a controller? Coming from the Panasonic G6 I would love be able to keep working with an iPad as a monitor/remote.

The new firmware update this month should bring continuous eye AF and face tracking with a monitor plugged in! I’m guessing at least.

I bought my A7III when it first came out, and I still love it. There's no other camera as good at that price even now, and the new ones from Canon and Nikon just fall short. By the time they're getting their shit together, the A7IV will be out and I cant even think how great that camera will be.

How is A7iii 1080p video quality when compared to Canon EOS R and Nikon Z6? A lot of cameras have great 4k but really mediocre 1080p
