A7III is a low light beast and does not overheat like the A7IV or eos R6, I love my A7III

I have the funds to buy an A7IV, but I'm switching from the Nikon system, so I need to invest in at least one lens for Sony, for example Tamron 17-28 f2.8, so the A7III will be a more reasonable variant for me. Funny thing is that a73 is probably overkill for beginners but definitely an amazing investment.

I don't get the thought process of needing the newest and shiniest cameras all the time, they're functionally exactly the same and most of the people buying them aren't professionals, they range from beginners to enthusiasts so you don't need the newest equipment because you're not a pro level photographer yet and you don't actually need 10% faster autofocus or 20% more megapixels, you're just falling for the hype. There are legendary photos that have were shot 20+ years ago on "ancient" technology yet they're better pictures than most of us will ever create, focus on your skill and you'll realise the camera system won't matter very much

I use Sony Alpha 7 gen 1 and it totally agree with you as a beginner I learned a lot from it. In future will upgrade to 7iii especially for thr autofocus Speed and accuracy. This is where I feel my camera is now falling shot on. Thanks for your video!

I picked up a used A7III with the 24-105 f/4 for £1800. When I tested it in store I found the shutter count to be just 701, so basically new! Managed to trade in an old RX10, along with a load of old games I never played. So no actual money paid. The shop in the UK (cex) has a 2 year warranty on all items too
