I agree about this viewpoint and review.What i love is that he concentrates on the Sony system, instead of spending time with some stupid comparisons.I used Sony for 4 years and loved it, and for me, it's about how you learn it, work it, and make it create the art YOU want/need.Plus, we have to realize, unless it's about money, we do nOT have to 'switch', so we can use what we used to.If it worked before, and it's not broken, just use it as a backup, second/third camera.

so funny looking through these comments, lovers, haters, and half of them seem to either know very little about cameras or are very brand loyal. i've used quite a few different cameras for various jobs. just starting to get into video. picked up the a7iii to help out with that but was shocked at how much the features helped on both sides of the field. picture quality yes very good, but really the features that free me up to focus on the shot are what really stand out.

This camera was the reason to switch back to Sony, where my photography once started with the A350. Ergonomics are so much better then the other generations and the specs are very well rounded. The Menu System was never a problem ... even it is pretty bad, compared to Nikon or Fuji for example. But with „My Menu“ they improved the Menu System a lot. Overall, I‘m pretty happy with my choice.

@9:20 you make it sound as thought the Canon 5dM IV is NOT a full frame camera but it definitely IS also full frame. I've shot canon for years now. Considering the Sony shift, I went out and bought an a6500 because I loved the size and knew it could be a great backup/2nd camera anyway. I'm so impressed by the video features on it I'm thinking I'll upgrade from my Canon 5dMIII to the a7III. Using the sigma mc-11 adapter and plan to keep all my Canon glass.

The A7III is an absolute pleasure to shoot with. Love the video and stills.

This camera made me leave Canon. I have been shooting Canon for over a decade. I sold all my L glass (with a bit of sorrow) and got Sony glass. Canon prices are going down due to lack of caring for customers.

I held out for soooo long. Waiting and calling Canon to bring out the 5D IV. I was one of the people fooled by Canon. Yep, they told me to buy the 8k or 33k cameras if I wanted the features. Well, I now got them with the A7III.
