Why you shouldn't shutdown your MacBook? Should you keep MacBook in sleep mode & why it's important?

sleep is for if you are going to use it again in the next hour or maybe few. it's NOT for just shuttin the lid for 8 or 9 hours at a time while you sleep or go to work. just shut it down at that point if it's going to be sitting

If your work involves several opened apps and browser tabs then it's convenient (saves time) to put your Mac device on sleep mode rather than shutting it down completely. From sleep mode the opened apps and browser tabs are refreshed shortly than to restart the needed apps and reconnect browser tabs after shut down.

i never knew of the benefits of sleep mode, however i almost never shut down my mac, only for flights, updates requiring restart and if a program froze. thanks for some great info.
