Quick tip: If you use the normal shutdown option, hold shift to do an instant clean shutdown!

Fast startup uses power while the computer is shut down. So this is a good tip for laptops since fast startup can cause the battery to drain much faster when the laptop is unused for a while.

You can also turn off the Hybernation.

If I remember, holding shift when pressing the shut down button also does it. Not sure if shift + U will perform the same function though

I certainly could be wrong here but wasn't Fast Startup disabled by default on Windows 10: Did Windows 11 revert to their old ways on this again?! So annoying if they did....
