Mog how to get rabbits

1.put items in a chest at spawn and make a backup
2. Go out far in your world
3. Set your spawn chunks to read only
4. Downgrade to 1.8
5. Get rabbits
6. Upgrade to 1.21
7. Remove the read only from your spawn chunks

You can collect both rabbit hides and rabbit feet from a cat gift farm, but raw rabbit is still unobtainable.

I know how to fix it :
- Create a new world in 1.8
- Collect every rabbit types (with name tags)
- Put them in the nether
- Switch your 12y old superflat world's nether folder with the new one from the new world
- Put the rabbits in the overworld
- Switch the nether folder back with the OG
And you have rabbits ! (Watch a tutorial about switching nethers cause I might did a step wrong)

There is world downgrading, but it has a LOT of problems. For one, it requires an external tool, so if you were to use those you might as well just spawn the rabbits yourself.

im seeing others say to try downgrading the world but i dont know if that would be a good idea as there could be risks to doing so and it would suck if it ends up corrupting parts of the world or anything like that.

You have to move your minecraft world back to that version but doing so will not only change what it looked like, but one change will make it so that when imported back to the latest version, a new timeline of your minecraft world will be made and anything created ahead of the update would be removed

I know an another way to fix you can unload your chunks (you can do all of the chunk work by a simple software that I forgot it's name, its in toturails however) that you are currently using (save them) then
Downgrade to 1.8 to get rabbits than get back to current version, load back the chunks. However watching a toturail is better, because I probably missed half of the important part, and how to do them properly.

wait there might be a way to get rabbits but it does involve some shenanigans. if you create a superflat world before 1.9, get a rabbit in the nether, replace the nether file in your main world with the rabbit world's nether, get the rabbit to the overworld and switch back the nether files. idk if that's plausible since it requires external file editing so not vanilla but is an option

Like a few other people have said put everything in spawn except a saddle get on the fastest horse you can find and then ride as far away as you can and then just go back to the first ever rabbits.

I mean, if you are sure enough of yourself, you can try downgrading your world to get them, but that would likely cause a lot of it to get corrupted and glitch out.
