Показать описание
This use case utilizes the same operations VT-MAAP used in the Use Cases 1, 2, and 3. In addition, Wing Part 135 delivery operations will be ongoing in Christiansburg, VA.

There are two active temporary flight restrictions (TFR's) in the flight areas. One is located at the VT football stadium and one is located at the RAAP facility. Both have a radius of 3nm. Remote ID viewing is evaluated by the general public as well as the six public safety entities identified in Use Case 4. Wing (an operator with FAA authorization to fly in the TFR area) continues flights within the TFR and the prototype remote ID information indicates their authorization to fly within the TFR.

This is exactly what is flawed about Remote ID... you’re assuming that the person would be using remote ID on their if the person did have malicious intent, he or she wouldn’t be enabling or have any desires to comply with Remote ID... only law abiding citizens would be using it which in most cases, would fail at catching real criminals.
Remote ID is a public stunt by the FAA, but isn’t effective enough to stopping malicious small UAVs from flying in certain areas... in fact, when has this ever happened? Most quadcopters would be too expensive or complicated for most criminals to use.
You’re just assuming and betting on a criminal action would occur with small UAVs and only because the US government has used their own before in warefare... the FAA should stop campaigning and fear mongering on small UAV for recreational use and focus on overlooked aircrafts from Boeing that carry living humans....
