A Collection Of Horrible Fates

Fate is defined as the development of events beyond a person's control. In this video, we’re going to go over two more confusing and disturbing stories. In particular, the second starts off seeming very plain and straightforward, and then with each revelation, just gets more and more horrifying. So, as always, viewer discretion is advised. This is part 30.

"Whoever this person was, no one seemed to have missed them." Sad line.

When my dad was an apprentice at British Leyland, a [now defunct] car manufacturer in the UK, at the beginning of his career many decades ago (he’s currently nearly 81), he was asked to check on something in one of the paint ovens just before it was due to be turned on. There was a fault with the door which prevented it from staying open, so his mate was told to keep his foot in the doorway to stop it from closing shut. My dad went in, did his work, then heard a bang. The door was closed! My dad panicked, as there was no way of opening the door from the inside.

He started shouting and banging on the door. He says he can’t remember how long he was stuck in there, but he knew that the oven would start heating up soon. Fortunately the door was opened in the nick of time by his "mate", who was laughing his head off and couldn’t understand why my dad was so upset and angry. He said he’d got bored and went to go do something else, but just couldn’t grasp the seriousness of his negligence, leaving my dad trapped in an oven! One would hope that some sort of health and safety investigation would take place immediately if that happened today, but at the time, way back then, nobody in charge appeared to be at all bothered about my dad’s brush with potential death.

That last story lit a fire under my ass I’m genuinely pissed, such disgusting failures all around, those poor people, those poor girls..

The second story- is that the one where the police botched the initial investigation up so much that they didn’t even realize they had been walking over the father’s remains the whole time?

In spite of how terrifying dying alone in a cave would be, stories of kidnapping, assault and murder always terrify me the most.

The first story sounds like urban exploring gone wrong. I can imagine some urban explorer just climbing up the chimney at night and then falling in on accident.

I find it disgusting how the gf of Phil found photos of bound girls scared for they’re life and she decided too put it in a junkyard. She deserves just as much prison time for that as that old pedo phil

The story involving the girls is just sick. While the cops were "investigating" the fire scene those girls were being assaulted and tortured. That is one inept PD, failed to do their job when they had the evidence, the insurance card, in their hands. The girls never had justice or a proper funeral.

It’s so sad to think how they spent their final days being assaulted over and over again.

So nice of the cops to exonerate themselves using a machine that they know doesn't actually work.

Holy hell I'm not surprised people bailed on sleeping over at the trailer without ruining water or heat with the abusive man

Thanks so much for fixing the background music issues. This is much better and allows me to better concentrate and hear your voice.

Oh, those poor girls! My heart breaks for them! And, the fact that the perps never paid. Horrible. The first story is a very interesting mystery. The death of that person must have been horrendous.

Theres a book about the second case called Hell in the Heartland. As for shawn, he wasnt killed by an officer, but was gun down by an off-duty deputy in training and his uncle was the sheriff at the time. It's also said that when Danny's body was officially found there was a boot print on him that of a cowboy boot and the only one he wore cowboy boots the crime the previous day was the sheriff, who was still the uncle of the man who shot and killed Shawn. And they never found the gun they said Sean pulled before being gunned down. The whole case was riddled with police incompetence, and overall I wouldn't have been surprised if the police knew about who killed them, or simply didn't care because the family was just days away from filing against the sheriff's department for wrongful death in the case of Shawn.

I wonder if the authorities could have gotten the gender wrong in the first story. From what I understand the conditions in the chimney were harsh. Any broken bones, injuries...maybe she was a female, and could have just had a stronger bone structure... I i'm tall and often wear men's work pants and shirts because the women's version is short for me. Whoever it was, I'm sorry that his loved ones don't know what happened to him

Honestly as soon as the cops missed identifying a whole human being in the fire debris I would think they were incompetent & stop trusting them.
