Hello everyone and welcome back to Scary Interesting. In this video, we’re going to go over two incredibly creepy and confusing cases of someone’s tragic end. But, even more than that, the second story has one of the most cruel and disturbing elements to it that you can possibly imagine, so as always, viewer discretion is advised.

As per YouTube's new AI disclosure policy, you may see a box pop up that says "Altered or synthetic content". To give specifics on how it's used on this channel, we use it to generate some scenes where real and stock images are not available, as well as some of the AI tools in various programs to speed workflow. Otherwise, all scripts, voiceovers, video editing, etc. is done by humans.

"the police damaged my bathtub with acid, coincidentally my wife is missing. A dead kid found in a quarry also looks just like my son who died in another country with no record or proof of death. These bits of information are unrelated"

It is really something how many of those mysteries start with the police not taking a report seriously

It's very sad that they never found justice for the boy in the quarry. It was very kind of Minnie to do what she could to give him a nice funeral.

That last story is so psychotic! There’s a real revenge feel to the sadistic torture the stalker put the parents through even years after the death.

1st story is so sad, I feel horrible for that poor little boy. The fact everyone was happy to make a spectacle of him but only a handful of people showed up to his funeral to show their respect is heartbreaking.

So the person who killed Dorothy Scott could possibly be still alive and watching this video. Be curious if investigators obtained any DNA evidence from the crime scene before burial of the remains.

Sad thing is, Shawn probably grew up around his mom's killer 😢

I’ve had the suspicion that it was always a coworker who killed Dorothy. That last bit about her boss being involved in tax evasion and Dorothy being the bookkeeper, plus the land connection….ugh :(

Thank you so much for covering that baby John Doe case!! What a heartbreaking story! An innocent child, abandoned just to be forgotten and unknown for a hundred years.
This case was one of the first John/Jane Doe cases I came across years ago. Such a tragic case i couldn't forget for a long time just like that of Bobby Dunbar's disappearance or the murder of Elsie Paroubeck 💔

If any police officer is given a report that they do not take seriously and it turns out that because of that fact someone was injured or died. Then they should instantly lose their job and be prosecuted appropriately. Lets see how often the police are quick to do nothing after that policy is introduced. I bet it stops happening as often.

The quarry kid reminds me of a local story the suitcase kid just recently in indiana i was an emt at the the time when he was found with no name . Alot of my coworkers were involved . One thing i am proud to say about salem indiana when they need to they came together and that boy was given a headstone fitting for him and the tragedy imposed on him . And through good dectective we were able to give him his name back .

I totally understand why youtubers do product placements and sponsorships, but for this particular channel, it always feels so weird to have that in the video:
"Today we take a look at *horror and death* again. Oh, by the way, you want to buy some meals?"

When I was a child, I didn't know the difference between "discretion" and "discussion". I used to think tv shows sporting "viewer discretion is advised" were warning people that of you watched the following program, then you might need to talk to someone about what you'd seen. As though NBC Dateline was going to make me need talk therapy lol

I watched them anyway, and now I do in fact need therapy. Coincidence?
Yeah, probably.

I do hope that Shaun is able to bring justice for his mother....
I'm sure that she would be really proud of the man he has become....
May both victims be at peace..❤

I think it’s obvious Edmund killed Homer. Whether the body in the quarry is him is up for debate. And perhaps the lady who visited his grave was Cecilia. Maybe she didn’t die, she escaped

Wisconsinite here.

Waukesha = "Walk a shaw"

It's only "Wa-Ke$ha" if you're being silly that day or had one too many brandy old fashioned, but it's not really how it's pronounced.

But don't feel bad. When the Green Bay Packers went to their last Superbowl, there was a whole segment by local news done with having people pronounce Wisconsin city names.

Have fun with Oconomowoc, Waupaca, Chequamegon, Outagamie, Kaukauna, or Weyauwega!
