Shoot Thinning in Old Vine Zinfandel at Monte Rosso Vineyard!

Hi everyone, it’s been awhile! I’m so happy to pick this series up again after the lull between pruning and shoot thinning. In the interim, we’ve been working on replanting dead/ missing vines, irrigation installation, fertilizers, and so many other good things as #vintage2020 really begins to take off. 🍇
In this video, I talk about the intricacies around shoot thinning in our head-trained Zinfandel. It’s another important job as we set the crop before bloom.
