We grow cold-hardy grapes (Marquette) in a high cordon trellis system. Ours trails downwards, but the theory is the same 😊

My white seedless grape vine grows lush but only once I had two bunches of grapes in ten years! I prune it every winter to the wood pull new buds shooting as I think correct, but not this way. Any idea what could be wrong?
