Greetings from Barnello Winery. This video emphasizes the importance of shoot thinning and sucker removal in spring where our vineyard is well under way and we have a lot of superfluous shoots that need to be removed so our producing vines benefit from all the energy going to the shoots that have already produced flowers which will become our grapes. Also, we need to remove all the suckers from the trunk of our vines.
