First time I ever heard of ya Doc! Thanks for the info, great motivator! Into strict carnivore here now on week 8 at almost 58, lost 35lbs to date, overall though, I’m not watching the scale, but I can tell you that I never have breathed this deeply before, and I only wish I could somehow share how good I feel… Maybe I’ve never felt this good tbh. 6’3” 204 now, was my heaviest living in the gym and eating everything in sight to maintain 285… Now I’m like a wound spring. Amazing.

I can realte to 100 % i almost Every day eat one meal at 18-19 in the evning that’s gives me a lot of energy during the day!!

If i break my fast earlier im not motivated, or have the same focus!!

I do IF, however valter longo warns an eating window less than 12 hours makes you more susceptible to gallstones.

Post surgery left me with out a gallbladder and celiac sprue along with diabetes. Now I am 200 lbs. and can't gain weight.

I started this diet not to lose weight (I'm 134 years old) only because I have joint pain because I have rheumatic arthritis, I want to tell you that the pain is greater when I'm on a diet. please tell me where i am wrong.🙏

I've been on the carnovore diet for 5 weeks and don't eat carbs or sugar. I am doing IF. My blood pressure has normalized, but I get palpitations, nausea and anxiety as soon as I get hungry. What should I do in this situation?

I am a bodybuilder, but the only way I can build and keep muscle is with high protein, and moderate fat... plus I have never gained weight in my life on carbs, and the fats when it was high fat moderate protein caused massive weight gain!

I'm trying to up my fat intake but it really upsets my stomach but if I eat a lot of protein it doesn't. But I think now I'm having issues with histamines and sugar spikes from a lot of protein as im starting to have skin issues that iv nvr had as a Vegan. Strange thing is I know I have severely low stomach acid but can eat all the meat I want without any issues or bloating, whether I'm actually absorbing it well that I don't know. But anytime I eat fats I have to stay close to the bathroom. I'm aware I need the fat for hormone and thyroid health but how does one get there when they can't breakdown fats properly?? Or will this get better over time? Do you recommend taking high amounts of HCL with pepsin and also separate bile enzymes and also if so when do you take them and how much?? Can too much fat spike insulin in sensitive individuals?

I just have a question. Why do you say that keto is a low protein way of eating? How is that possible (or healthy) when we’re eating so much meat, eggs and organs?

I think there is an element of reason that somebody should consider whenever thinking about eating an all-meat diet. The doctor explains eating meat like it is one's path to Nirvana. It's a little too concerning more than anything the way he delivers his message. There's a lot of people out there who could damage themselves permanently by eating that much fat. If somebody could provide me with some sort of longitudinal study or peer-reviewed articles that suggests and have actually studied control groups and experimental groups that ate nothing but meat for years that would be wonderful. How long can somebody eat meat without it being sustainable?
