Front squats will improve your back squat but you back squat will never improve your front squat . Something to keep in mind

I think back squats are more popular because they're easier and you can load more weight for ego just like bench press is more popular than inclines. Doesn't mean popular is better.

I do more front squats than back squats. I found it more comfortable and less strain on my lower back and posture

I feel like front squats are more practical if nothing else. I’m never gonna squat some weight up with it on my back in real life.

Front squats are not realistic to push close to failure. Especially when you have to myo reps. Point of failure is shoulder fatigue more than quads. And best way to do back squats for hypertrophy is simply heel elevation, use a plate under and get just as much knee flection and upright posture as front squat.
