When fasting and experiencing hunger you need to retrain your brain.
Instead of translating hunger as, "Oh my God! I must eat", learn to recognize it as a positive sign that the intermittent phase of your keto lifestyle is working to make you healthier or to lose weight and you will learn to be able to push through it.
You are not starving, you have food and will eat again in a matter of hours and getting past your hunger without eating is a personal victory of which you can be proud.

Eating enough fat and staying busy/mentally occupied are the easiest way for me to breeze through fasts up to 72 hours. As soon as I get bored or don't have something to do, I get "hungry".

Hunger is there, and for me it really affects motivation and energy levels. Probably more of a mental issue, but that really makes intermittent fasting challenging for me. When intermittent fasting is implemented, I find myself sleeping as long as possible, and reducing daily activities until ending the fast.

IF got much easier for me with every longer fast i completed. Getting that proper connection to the fat cells is key.

It's so dang hard to fast when I have to feed my kids still. I'm cutting my kids food into little pieces and it's so hard not to sneak a few bites.😅

A quick set of push ups or squats get the heart beat up and the NO response sets me up. Muscles release glucose from glycogen stores and switch the hunger hormones off for a while at least.

I literally love dark chocolate it’s my favorite kind of chocolate, regular chocolate is incredibly too sweet for me and I don’t even dare look at white chocolate that taste like straight up heart problems

Thanks for the info, tips and inspiration. I've done fasting before, but this is the first time it's been planned. Which is going a lot differently. Last time I lost 85 lbs I went from 280 to 195. Now I'm down 35 lbs on my 100 lb weight loss journey.
