My husband had traumatic brain injury. It did heal but years later the VA tried to treat him for PTSD. His brain fought back big time. They had to take him off all ptsd meds. His brain thought it was dying on them. As soon as they took him off them. His brain stabilized. Somehow his brain had rewired around the damage years ago. Baffled the doctors how he was functioning for years like he was because it was so different than most people. He was the coolest guy ever.

My grandma used to ride horses a lot and one day she was riding one without a saddle. The horse stopped and reared and flew her into a sagebrush bush. She broke most of her back, her lower neck, and her right shoulder. She was rushed to the hospital and the doctors said there was a very slim chance of her recovery and even if she did survive, she wouldn’t be able to walk. Just a few months after the incident she was ok and about a year after major surgery, she was able to walk (with a limp, but it was still a miracle)! And even after all that, she still had the courage to ride horses again and didn’t stop until her mid-fifties. ❤

My Son was on Life Support from car was Brain dead & after about 10 days they pulled the plug! He was only 20years old and that was 34 yrs ago!! When I've see the few who DO return from the Brink!?
Wished we had known back then....Miracles do happen!!
