This gives me flashbacks to an ex who convinced himself he could reverse my disabilities and chronic illness with a few words. When I told him neurology doesn’t work that way, he insisted love would do the trick. Things got their weirdest when he told me I didn’t need school accommodations, he’d cure me on the spot through instant messaging.

He was insulted when I remained myself, deciding the reason I’m still disabled and ill was from my failure to realize how “awesome” he was. The kicker? He’s also disabled, but didn’t think strong arming me into a relationship would treat his eyes.

Personally, I get some wheelchair users wanting to learn to walk again, but I hate the whole concept of "I healed a guy" or "I prayed to god and can walk again". It just screams that the person is a scam artist.

What I resent is the implication that we (disabled individuals) need to be "fixed'. I'm okay as I am, and with who I am. I'm not a "victim", and I don't need anyone's pity.

This woman has obviously undergone a firm of brainwashing: sleep restriction, forced meditation and so on, reduce a person's ability to think critically, making the indoctrination process more effective.

Somebody recommend the services of a good deprogrammer. In the meantime, take her message about miraculous healing with a grain of salt, preferably the kind you put on the driveway.

Years ago she posted about leaving YouTube and finding her own journey and you can too! Sure she can manifest her own destiny she was a very successful YouTuber with the ability to manifest anything her money could afford her. Telling people they can just leave their lives for their dreams isn't possible for most people.

So she already seems prone to believing BS then add sleep deprivation and low blood sugar to the mix. Maybe she believes what she says but yeah I hope people call her out for this.

I have no idea who Michelle Phan is, but she needs to stop with pretty much everything she said. She desperately needs sleep and probably needs to start eating right because her brain is not functioning right. As a wheelchair user, I sit by my thoughts here. It's healthy to be a skeptic. There are many scam artists. That's sad because the mind can play a role in healing. Not magic but many people do do better when they can be calm.
