Today's video is a deep dive into Michelle Phan, an OG Beauty Guru, possibly joining and promoting a cult??? We’re also gonna talk about some of her previous scandals and dramas.

The reason why we took a deep dive on Michelle - a few weeks ago she posted some questionable stories on her Instagram. She talked about spiritual enlightenment, healing disabled people with her thoughts, seeing angels... Lots of her fans were confused and concerned about her and speculated she might have joined a cult.

If you dig deeper, michelle has been into woo woo pseudoscience and been a bit loopy for years. She once said that she meditates inside a copper pyramid and said that if you put medicine inside a copper pyramid that effectiveness of the medicine will increase. She also takes into account people’s zodiac signs before she hires them. Yes, you could miss out on getting hired because you didn’t have the right star sign.

And now for the finale, search for her chicken and rice story. She said when she was in nyc late at night she was being stalked so as she running away she saw 2 men eating chicken and rice which was her favourite meal in nyc and saw it as a sign from god and approached them for help.

I used to like her. But then she got shady. Uncredited work, bulling teenagers, lying about sources, getting a phd without disclaiming it was a honorary (so people praised her for pursuing an education while being a youtuber), stealing content from smaller youtubers, making paid content and not being open about it, denying face surgery while selling self acceptance...

Anyone can be taken advantage of by a cult. Because anyone can find themselves in an abusive relationship. I hope she has an amazing support system who can help her see the groups true intentions 😞

Dude. No way! I literally lost a best friend at the beginning of the panini because she was "hEaLeD" by a person like this. She had Chiari malformation and deconditioning related cranio-cervical instability as a result of a car accident.

They literally forced her to take off her neck brace (basically gave her pt and rebuilt the strength while claiming it was God's miracle healing touch) for hours at a time, and kept her awake for days at a time. They hosted what was basically a COVID version of a measles party, and she brought her immunodeficienct, type 1 diabetic 4 year old to it in 2020.
She then picked up everything and ran away to 4 states south of here and left her kids and their dad with no warning. Now saying she was completely cured by a self proclaimed prophet of the church. They packaged it as if it was biofeedback and chronic pain coping breath work.

I swear. It's literally exactly the same story as this! CRAZY!!

As far as I know Michelle didn’t steal the cat. The cat came into her yard not too long after her previous cat died. When the original owners came to pick up the cat they said the cat was happy living with her and let her keep it. This is all according to her stories so of course take it with a grain of salt. However if what she said is true, that’s not stealing a cat.

This is crazy to hear about. I’ve been subscribed to Michelle Phan since the literal dawn of YouTube, but over the last few years haven’t stayed up to date with any of her recent endeavors. I'm surprised you didn't mention any of the racist things she said/did. I remember her a long time ago doing blackface & posting it on her channel. Don't know if she ever acknowledged it. Would be surprised if she apologized. She's said she wouldn't support black owned businesses & black people commit more crime so that's why they're targeted by police & that's why Asians aren't...
