I love how the central focus of this trailer is on Renee Rapp as Regina. She’s spectacular in the role.

I honestly like that the movie musical is branching off a little bit from the original. The movie would be boring if it was a cookie cutter remake of the original, I like that they're changing some songs and parts of the script. The costuming and overall aesthetic is clearly different from the musical and movie, but that's not inherently a bad thing. It'll be a new and experimental version of Mean girls, and if it isn't that good, it's not a big deal. You can still go and rewatch the original if you want classic mean girls. People are giving this unnecessary hate.
