I feel like this movie is unremakeable. But at least it’s an adaptation of the musical and not a direct remake.

Why are they so hesitant to show that it’s a musical?? People are hating on it bc they think it’s an exact remake, which these trailers and teasers aren’t refuting but I think the marketing team doesn’t want to show musical numbers in case it scares away ppl who don’t like musicals but sorry musical theatre nerds are probably the only people who would see this

No thank you. Some movies don't need sequels, reimaginings, reboots, prequels... whatever. Mean Girls is one of those movies. I realize this is supposed to be a musical, but it's weird and that spark is absent here.

Why do a remake of Mean Girls :-s Hollywood is running out of writers with unique vision for a movie nowadays. I can understand for superhero movies like Batman, Superman, Spiderman, the Avengers but sheesh, enough with the regurgitation of Hollywood remakes.
