Daenerys tells Viserys off

My #4 favorite Dany scene. I love this scene because I think it really shows her transition from timid and scared little girl to strong and powerful woman. Viserys's face when she tells him off is borderline priceless and kinda sad. He looks so shocked and defeated.

Viserys was an abusive bastard but I love how well the actor got across the complete shock and how dumbfounded Viserys was in this moment- he could never have imagined that his little sister who he abused for years would suddenly prove her herself the strongest out of them- the true Dragon.

Viseris throws stuff at her and slaps her, she just hits him with a necklace and he gets scared. Guess that shows how much he's like Joffery, it would have been interesting for Viserus and Joffery to meet.

I love how Dany went from saying "Please" to Viserys to sternly saying, "Stop! Stop it!" when he threw the rags and jewelry at her. She wasn't just being brave in standing up to Viserys like that. She was acting more mature than he was in the situation.

As a domestic and relationship abuse survivor this part was difficult for me to watch, but I get chills in the end as she fights back. Reading these books and watching this made me the strong woman I am today.
