I respect the fact that when Dany approaches him, Drogo maintains eye contact with Dany despite the fact her brother put her purposefully in a revealing silk gown that leaves very little to the imagination.

The fact she unashamedly makes eye contact back is probably also meant to be telling of her strong character. She's scared, she's submissive here, but she's still got a fiery spirit enough to look Khal Drogo right in the eyes while he appraises her worth as a bride. I feel like the intent here was to show us that -that- was what he was attracted to the most about her.

Khal Drogo was the most savage man in Game of Thrones. A man never defeated, killed by his wife's kindness ! Seriously it was her goodwill and naive nature that killed him, but he'll always remain one of my favourite characters of all time

They can also be seen, guarding Drogos and Dannys wedding.
