Mid April in Finland and the snow has just melted, the moss is magnificent!

Did my parents lawns yesterday, 6mm depth, two lawns about 6m x 6m each, took two green bins of moss etc from it, going to mow them again today, to pickup any left over debris I missed, then going to put some moss killer on today, and just let it grow for a few weeks then just see how it goes and then feed and weed it in a few weeks and hope it comes better, my parents live to scalp the grass when they cut, so still trying to get through to them that a 1/3 is only needed when mowing, but have watched a few of your vids over the years and found them extremely helpful thankyou big guy… 🙏🏽👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Was a very wet March and start of April

Thank you for the great video! Seattle gets a lot of moss and most soil is acidic from coniferous trees, so in addition to thatching and aerating, we offer lime applications, as well as overseeding, fertilizer, and topdressing with a sandy compost mix.

I’m now the (novice) Greenkeeper at Cleator Moor Bowls club in West Cumbria. Our weather is very similar to yours. 11:33 winters.
Your knowledge and tips have been invaluable and I thank you very much.

Great tip, I hate the moss, just put Mo Bactor moss killer on my own lawn about 4 weeks ago and I’m beginning to see the results now, going to use my own hand scarifying rake and get
the rest out 👍

Great video Robbie!
I'm in London, and just gave the damp, shaded side if my lawn a Rake through to pull out some of the moss but the soil is still so soaked!! I think I'll scarify fully end of August before we go away for a couple weeks.
Also planning a re-levelling project this summer which I'll be doing after seeing your videos about that! Big job

Wolf-Garten makes a nice wheeled hand scarifier, you can adjust the depth by adjusting the angle of the tool. The drawback is you need to buy the one-click handle separately, but if you own any tool from this brand you probably own the handle already. In Belfast, you can get them in Dundonald Nurseries.

I really enjoy your channel. I'm just a homeowner. I agree with your observations about Kujo shoes. They are not the most comfortable shoes, especially if you have wide feet. But they are light weight and tough.

Ever used Mo Bacter?
Applied it to my lawn a few weeks ago and preety impressed with the results. Kills the moss and kinda eats it using bacteria, so you dont have to rake it out much

Hi, the manual scarifyer you recommend in the video (the last manual one you used) can you advise where you got this one please? The link above takes me to a plastic one which doesn't look as good as the one you used. Thanks for all the videos - great content
