What should I do if my boss says, 'If you don't like the job, you can go'?

This guy sounds like an asshole boss. Ironically though, I agree. IF the boss thinks that little of you you should go.

Nah, my last boss would have been screwed. Seeing as how I was the last one standing after a revolving door of night shift folks jumping ship either after a week or after getting their pharm tech license. If I had left before the company went under, I out lasted the company btw, no one would be working the night shift and at that point she’d dissolved any good will with the day shift and all of them made extremely clear they were day shift only. Because her best day shift employee put in her two weeks after she tried to put her on night shift after having her on there temporarily after she wanted her to do a “review” of night shift.

In Ontario there's a law about stuff like this, where if you refuse to help someone with issues in the work place ('deal with it or quit' situation) it's considered forcibly quitting and you can be made to pay out severance and could possibly be sued
