So I also eat a high protein diet and it has definitely made me less hungry and allowed (with resistance training) me to develop more muscle mass.

But in terms of getting "shredded" (which is really just losing fat) what is most important is a calorie deficit, so eating less calories than you need to maintain. For me that was about 1900/2000 kcal a day, but everyone is different and has different life styles.

Make sure the majority of your remaining calories come from quality fat sources instead of carbs and then yes higher than “optimal” protein intake is dope

I always eat 130g+ of protien a day and eat 2, 700 calories I thought lean bulking was hard but it really isn’t that hard

I think you need to recount your macros and calories. That post workout meal IS NOT 86g protein.
