the compressor overload is not true. u can on all ur units even if total is more than the 33k compressor. the aircons will just under power itself e.g u on 24+12+9=45k, each unit will just pro rate itself by 33/45. it is in the manual as well.

My advise is the biggest sized fan your ceiling space can fit (est. 20-30 cm spacing from fan tip to whatever obstacles). For brands, big or small size usually same price. A big slow turning fan is always better than a small fast turning fan.

I installed Philips fans with retractable blades to keep them neat when not in use. The tri-color light is also bright enough for bedrooms

Ceiling fans do drop sometimes, I kena few times before when I was renting, unless you use professional reno companies/ contractors, which I don't think Singapore & Malaysia have any. If you have big budget, can use overseas contractors/IDs from Japan, Europe, New Zealand or Australia like those living in landed, but I don't think many who live in HDB would have such privilege, one budget option is to get PRC or Taiwanese contractors, they have much higher standard than local and Malaysian ones. Another thing is that I don't recommend any local and Malaysia electrical brands, unless you want try your luck, most Asian brands are very fragile, maybe only Japan is an exception, some Korean and PRC products also quite good, but definitely have to be careful with Asean products, they are usually just slightly better than made in India / Africa standard = some of the worst in the world.

you should not place aircon over a transition zone (i.e. above a door, or midway between a hallway of one room/area to another). this is because the thermostat will always be activated and there are more fluctuations in temperature. Also the cold distribution from the aircon is not as good. Proper aircon placement is always at centre of the room.

Regarding leakage, aircons LEAK because many do not service their aircons frequent enough, or the trunking and piping are done wrongly.

I own a shop and have both ceiling type aircons and inverter type aircon. 10 yrs already - no leak at all. Servicing and proper cleaning and timely chemical washing is extremely important.

Comfort is more important than astetics. Go for the bigger ceiling fan if possible. SG weather is hot.

adding on also. Air con capacity is determined by room size . If not sure give contractor floor plan they will count for you . Ceiling fan have another type which is air circulator fan other than can reverse the fan turning, it also circulates the air in the room. Else traditional fan will blow hot air down when it’s very hot.

About BTU usage, if you dont turn it to the coolest, so the BTU is not maximized, you can turn on all at 24 deg, your compressor will still work fine.

Three blades fan are useless for visual pleasure only and needs to run at higher speed. Go for 5 blades, although may look less professional, it generates much more flow and less speed needed.
