AirPods Pro Issues

Apple's AirPods Pro were poised at release to dominate the market with essentially no compromises. Now, it can be hard to get a proper replacement
pair and Active Noise Cancellation, the flagship feature, isn't nearly as good as it used to be. The culprit? A slew of automatic, faulty software updates that still haven't been fixed.

So I had to replace my AirPod pros about 3 weeks ago. I honesty don’t remember what the software version was when I sent them in but I can say when I got the replacements in and hooked them up they sounded way better than my original ones. I just checked and the software version on the replacements is 2B588. Noise cancellation is working perfect and sound quality is fantastic. Way better then the originals. Love your videos.

I have a buzzing sound on my left earbud as if the speaker popped and its more noticeable with ANC and transparency on, which might be caused by sumthin in the microphones

The only problems I’ve been experiencing with my AirPods Pro is how much the audio glitches when I’m listening to music directly from my Apple Watch (away from my iPhone). The audio always ends up cutting out.

Am I the only one having an issue where when I adjust or touch my AirPod Pros there is a strange squeaking/static sound, as if I am covering the mic or something even though I'm, not. I don't think I am the only person having the issue.

I bought the AirPods Pro back in November of 2019 and they were amazeballs. Sometime in December, I noticed that I was having problems connecting both earbuds if I put the right one in first. Annoying, but adaptable (start with the left). In January, I started hearing static ONLY in the left ear. We're talking holding a seashell up to your ear white noise. Apple Support had me remove the pods from my device and resync them... it didn't work. They had me change the ear tips and run a fit test - didn't work. The Noise cancellation 'works' in that I can still tell a difference, but the left one is completely distracting with its crackling. I really hope Apple fixes this - I'm still waiting on a replacement from January. It's April.

I got my Pros around December 28 2019. I’ve had a number of connection issues with my Pros, having to reseat them in case to swap devices. Also have my left long click set Siri but often forgets and toggles between noise modes instead. Sometimes a press doesn’t respond or ‘click’ at all. Have also had both left and right pods replaced, first left in early March, now right mid April, as they started giving vibrating feedback when using them on calls which eventually turned into actual hardware vibration. I look after all my devices very well, as I’m totally against disposable consumerism. So far been equally impressed as well as disappointed with the quality of the pros. I understand software issues. I just hope I have no more hardware issues.

My AirPod Pro have been having issues! I keep having one cut out on me. I even had to forget this device and re add them to get both to work.

Clicking noise on my left airpods pro, started happening out of nowhere as in last week it was fine. Sounds like there is static noise, like those fly catcher that has electricity on it when an insect goes thru it. It happens when i move my jaw, touch the airpods ever so slightly, walk around. I tried using it until battery drains and the clicking stopped. Also when airpods function is of (middle option) clicking goes away. Tried resetting it, different apps but still noise is there. Made an appointment with Apple store to take a look at it.

Constant connection issues with the pros!!! 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ my original 3 year old AirPods are bulletproof

2C54 here, I got them around December. Sound quality's fine and ANC is worse. They also have rare but significant problems where just one connects, making me having to put both back in the case and take them out again.
I hope these will be solved at some point because for me they're far superior in terms of comfort, seal and sound compared to the non-pro version!

I was facing the same issue tha all of you described (bad quality sound when Noise Cancelling or Transparency mode was activated). Apple replaced both sides and now i have a new problem to solve: they work separately, exactly as detailed in the video. One side has firmware 2B576 and the other othe is 2B588. This is realy annoying for a $ 249 apple accessory.
