This is why I still use my wired EarPods that I had for the past 8 years. I do have AirPods and do use it pretty often with my Apple devices. But if the device I’m using has a port and I’m not going to be moving around anyway, might as well just use the port and listen through wired audio.

Ok I’ve had my airpods for 4 years using them near Daily each day, they have been lost in my house countless times, fell out of the case in the driveway, washed in the washer (they were in my jeans) many people have listened with me, connected to SOO many computers, phones, tablets, ect, and still work better then 99% of my headphones my AirPods are one of the best things I have invested in

i have adhd and having music in the background helps me to do things i would normally struggle to do. to me, the money is well worth the convenience of just being able to have music at all times with nothing getting in the way.

I had the AirPods 1st generation for 4 years and then one of them gave up the other one was perfectly fine. The battery time was also very good until i got new one. I must mention that in the first month i got my Airpods they survived a washing machine and still worked for 4 year. Tbh i can only recommend them.

i’ve had my first gen for almost four years, and the earpieces themselves still last me a good 3.5 hours while i charge the case i’d say once a week
still going strong for me, it must depend on multiple factors!

btw i’ve always made pretty light use of them, on average maybe 45 minutes per day

That's why I use headphones and they're more comfotrable too, they really give u that bass and extra quality sound

I’ve had my Airpods 2nd gen for 4 years now, I’ve put them through the wash twice, use them every day, and don’t treat them gently. And yet, there still kicking. I’m not saying all airpods have lasted as well as mine, I’m just saying I’m shocked they are still kicking

i had 1st gen airpods that lasted me three years and then i gave them to someone and they still have good battery levels and work perfectly fine

exactly, like that’s why i hate those videos when people randomly go up to someone and cut their earphones and give them airpods, because if someone is actually using wired earphones these days it’s probably a choice.
i have airpods but i much prefer to use my wired earphones and would be pissed if someone cut them and tried to give me blue tooth earphones where the output speaker is absolute shit and i have to use my phone to change the volume

Yeah this couldn't be more true. Had my airpods for a good 3 or 4 years. Just the other day I let it completely die like no juice left or anything. I try to charge it now and the light doesn't even turn on anymore. Plus I lost one of the pods so guess it was finally time to let them ago. Now I have resorted back my wired ones that I've had for a decade and they sound almost exactly like the airpods lmao if not better

My AirPods Pro (version 1) lasted an average of 10 weeks before they started to crackle, which Apple acknowledged and had a replacement program for. I had them replaced under warranty 6 times for one then 7 times for the other, all within the 90 window after each replacement. The last time they lasted for 14 weeks and Apple refused to replace them again because it was just outside the repair window. The version 2 design supposedly fixed the issue by replacing the grate on the side with just an IR sensor for in-ear detection, but I can’t justify spending that much to experiment again.

if any of u are having trouble with your airpods, just try to diagnose the problem, say one of them or both dont work - take them apart and replace the battery with a brand new one online, and sauter it back andd put the yellow tape, or electrical tape around the 2 wires. And if your case isnt charging your airpods - you could have corrosion or debree on the 2 charging pieces - just use some isopropyl alchohol and be scrape it off of the charging metal, but be careful not to damage it
