Here are a few I'd add:

1. Simulate the test beforehand. See if you can get a practice test from your teacher/professor and time yourself. Questions from your textbook work as well.

2. When studying for a test, chew gum. On the day of the test chew the same flavor of gum. Mint is a natural destresser as well.

3. Don't rush yourself. Typically you're alloted 75 minutes to complete the test; use all of it. It's tempting to speed run it amd go home early but slow.and steady wins the race.

4. Don't pressure yourself. It's just a test and in the grand scheme of things it won't matter THAT much.

Something I liked in the When Anxiety Makes You Angry book was the CBT scenario for taking a test. Instead of thinking if you're not perfect on this exam you will never get into your desired institution you can instead recognize that not doing well in this 1 test isn't the end of the world and it's still possible to achieve your dreams. Takes a lot of pressure off ur shoulders.

I believe my anxiety during midterms and finals are the worst and i perform horribly. Try not to tell myself im a bad srudent but just have poor scheduling habits and lack the right studying skills.
