With people waiting until later in life to start growing their families, I see a lot of patients who are over 40.

While everyone's body is different, IVF is a great option to consider for many women over the age of 40. I've had many over 40 IVF success stories. I want you to know that pregnancy is definitely possible and that's why I'm going to share my best IVF tips with you this week on The Egg Whisperer Show. Thanks a lot for these tips! I've already had a cycle with donor eggs. It was a success! Now I have my little girl and I'm the happiest mom in the whole Universe) I had 2 rounds of IVF with oe. Both failed, unfortunately. At that time I was 36. Then I had 2 rounds with de(age 37 - 38). The first one failed and honestly, I was so broken and devastated I even thought to quit trying... Well, I'm glad I went for cycle #2! I'm turning 41 this year and I'm planning to have another de cycle in 2021! Fingers crossed!

I wish I had you as my doctor. There are doctors that has told me. Oh you are over 40 your posibities are too low for a baby. They had said without even checking my cycles to see how I am actually doing. Now the fertility doctor has checked my 1st cycle my tubs he sees everything it's normal and good. How can there be doctors with negative thinking has put me under so much stress. I am considering going to see you in San Francisco Doctor Amy.

I just wanted to say thank you Doctor for the positivity. Just found out my my treatment was unsuccessful to create eggs.. I’m 41 so it’s understandable but still hurts. Me - TTC : 2years +. Feb 2016- Hsg done -dx with block tubes. I did the surgery and my right tube opened. We tried clomid/IUI #1, but got bfp (chemical). Following medicated cycles with monitoring still no baby. Then had a good consultation with fertility dr. Were finally told to move onto ivf. The process started from self educating which lasted quite long due to some facts. I did another lap surgery. Healed well but I strated considering moving abroad for ivf as it seemed far more affordable there.

I’m going through IVF at 41 for first time after years of trying and found this video not very positive. It basically says I have no chance. My AMH is 10pmol and I’ve been told I have odds of 10 to 25%. I have 2 friends who conceived naturally at 42 so it’s not impossible.

clinic said straight that egg donor only I should take under consideration to have success, well 2 not implemented, and 1 missed mischarge, I have still 3 embryos .... still I have a hope

My wife is 43 and have had 3 IVF cycles from 3 different clinics. We are financially strapped and only have one more shot. Egg donation might be our only recourse. How do you know which are the best clinics. Also freezing versus fresh eggs.

Hi Dr. Aimee, I ‘m 40 years old and couple of IVFs failed with fresh transfer and I’m going to do frozen transfer this year. I have 5 day 5 embryo and 4 day 3 embryos. My doctor wants to start with day 3 embryos first and later day 5 embryos. I’m little concerned with implantation and Can you give any suggestion for my transfer, tests and successful pregnancy?
