That abuse happened with me someone asked my father about details I took phone and asked 2 question about identity and he started abusing and cut the call and I called again but the number was unreachable

Just remember besides your account number and the IFSC code of your bank account you cannot share any more details with anyone . Not even any bank employee

Exact same scam has caught on in Pakistan. People from the villages of Punjab call big cities and do the same. However, they have a very distinct accent so now people have started to understand and banks have also been very active in educating people about it
