I remember reading Plato's "The Apology" and came across the line spoken by Socrates: "Now if death is like this, I say that to die is gain...". Had to look it up to see if Plato lived before Paul. He did. Paul of the Bible (who is believed to have actually lived) would have been a highly educated man (unlike the disciples who would have not only been illiterate but would have only spoken Aramaic and NOT Greek). Anyway, Paul seems to have used this idea in his "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain".

Although there are lots of good moral lessons taught in the Bible, I find that, the more I study it, it shows me that it is simply a work of fiction.

I'm pretty sure that there is actual records of Jesus and his miracles found in the records of ancient Rome. As well as his apostles. Even so, If I'm proven wrong I have nothing to worry about. If your wrong, then I hope enjoy extreme hot weather.
