You should flip the direction of the opening of the doors on the machines to make it easier to transfer the clothes over. It's pretty simple to do, it's just a few screws and I'm pretty sure that there's instructions on the manuals on how to do it. If not, obviously you can easily find how to do it online.
Trust me, I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but it just makes life so much simpler to not have the doors in your way! 😊

The doors on most washers and dryers can be reversed. Remove and flip your washing machine door over so that it opens to the other side.

You'll be glad you did. 😉

I hope you put a hose clamp on that gas line. Just pushing it on could lead to it coming off from the vibration of the drier when it's running. You don't want a gas leak

You did an excellent job. You need a couple of things. A bar to hang clothes and a collapsible table to fold things on. Perhaps a. Shelf on the wall for detergent, fabric softener, bleach and dryer sheets.

You need to put up brackets with a rod and hangers to hang your clean clothes on till you put them away. They will be all wrinkled and such. You need to also hang the dry rack on the wall (it came with the dryer) it is plastic to dry sweaters etc.

Make it a habit to NEVER leave the dryer door open. Cats love warm places. We lost a precious cat one time who decided to climb inside the warm dryer. My grandmother was hard of hearing, and didn't realize the cat was inside.

Roberto, your laundry room is going to be Freddie’s second favorite room in the house with the kitchen being her favorite! It’s looking remarkable and you have done an awesome job! Moo Moo was upset that you shared with the goats and didn’t give her any so she got some for herself. She’s a sweet girl. She deserves a treat too sometimes.💕

You should flip the door on your dryer so it opens towards the washer. Will help when shifting from the washer to the dryer. We did it on ours

Rodrigo next tim you may want to consider taping a transparent tarp over the doorway to prevent drywall dust from getting into the other areas of your home. I'm happy you chose not to waste the paint and use it instead. I like the color! Your laundry room is looking like a happy place for your future!

I am so glad those people saying you should make that a guest room didn't influence you to change your plan just to accommodate the occasional visitor but instead you put to good use the space within your home to accommodate your needs for daily life and to do your wash within your own home rather than using the neighbor's space or going all the way to town when you can simply do it under your own roof! As selfish as it may seem...I would rather have my own laundry room in the house than a room that would rarely be used and have to do the laundromat thing and have a visitor's hideaway. There's nothing wrong with spending a night or 2 on the couch then going back to their own house where their own bedroom is! 🎉Great Job Bobby!!!

Just a little tip, Rodrigo. If you trade places for the dryer and washer, then the doors will be open to each other and it will make it easier to move clothes from the washer to the dryer. Or maybe you might be lucky enough that just the doors can be reversed.
