My firestick TV doesn't have that option, but settings menu look exactly like the one you just showed on the video.

Hi.. it says downloading updates...then it will say " install".. I then click install .. then it will say check for updates ...I click it and then it brings it all the way back to downloading MORE updates... i dont understand . What do I do ??

this is a new fire stick it stern on ask for language then goes to download software but does not it is stuck there.

I tried using the sink browser but it says the stick needs updating but when I got to updates it says its up to date

My mom gave me her fire tv and it's soooo slow!! It takes 5-6 seconds to scroll to where I need to go (the settings option in this case), then when I click on what I need, it takes several more seconds for it to load, if it loads at all and doesn't kick me out. Will updating it help (if I can get it to load) it not be so slow or could there be something else going on? I clicked on settings and came outside to smoke, (about 5 minutes)just to give you an idea about how long it's taking to load.

is anyone having trouble with updating their fire tv?? tired factory resetting the tv.. resetting the modem.. turn off and unplug power and it still does not work?? all it keeps saying is its unable to update tv.
